Hmm...

You know those days when you really want to make something, but you're just not sure exactly what? I've been in that mood lately. I want to sew some stuff for my store, but don't have all the supplies. So, what did I do? I thought to myself, "Amy, why don't you make your tiny yeti even smaller?" So, what's the result?

So yea...not quite sure why I even made it. And of course he's so small, he doesn't have legs, and his face came out a bit wonky. Oh well. :)

In other news, I might be away for a while. Long story short, my sister-in-law now lives in Washington. Her family is moving back to Florida, so she thought, instead of being on the road alone for 3-4 days, why not swing by Montana and pick me up. So, I may be driving back with her. Bad news is that, without going into all the details, I will only be able to fly into either Spokane or Boise. Seth would have to either pick me up from one of those places, or I would have to find a cheap flight from there to here. Of course Spokane is 7 hours away, and Boise is 9. We might just drive it. But I would be able to see my family for a couple weeks, plus there's a couple main friends down there that I would just love to see. I'll be updating, of course, to give my final answer as to whether or not I'll be going.

Jellyfish Central!

As mentioned in the previous post, I've been VERY busy making jellyfish. So, after being so determined to finish them today, I have completed them.

Now, I would like to present, the jellyfish family. :)

They're all going to the same home, and will be sent out tomorrow with all my other packages. The pictures are very poor and taken with my cell phone, so it's hard to see the true colors. The first one is blue and orange, and the second one is black, white and grey. The small purple one in the first picture is the one that I sold, that just happens to be going the same place as all the others. :) Ack! So much to send at once! haha

Day of the Tentacles

I think my life is being taken over by tentacles today. I'm in the process of making 2 jellyfish for a personal swap, and I have the bodies done, I just need to make tons of tentacles.

And I'm busy today, and I feel like I've neglected my blog the past few days. I have 3 packages to send out, but only 2 will go out today. I also have another project that I just finished that I'm going to be sending out, but I don't want to post pictures because I want it to be a surprise when Alexz opens it.

And, I had 2 more sales, so those have to go out as well. Wow this has been a busy week and it's only Tuesday?!

I've also been so busy because we've had workers in our apartment all day yesterday. The plumber is back today to put in our toilet. This has been exhausting.

Happy Easter!!

We had a fun Easter morning.
This is our first holiday where we're really doing things on our own. Last Easter we went to a friends house, same thing for Thanksgiving, and we were home for Christmas. So, we've decided to do things on our own today.

I spent the morning hiding eggs for Seth and setting up his easter basket. :)

I made him a little dragon, which went with the rest of his Easter basket goodies. He also got a giant Nerf sword, and a pirate ship puzzle. lol.
The pattern was bought from Etsy, but all in all, I'm very happy with how he turned out. I also had the perfect safety eyes to use for it. :)

Seth bought me Coraline for Easter. It's sad, but I don't own the DVD. Now I own it, and it came with 3-D glasses. I really want to see how 3-D works with our projector. I'm really hoping it'll be like the theater. :)
And, just a shot to show an action shot of my new shirt from my Mom. Ignore the fact that the writing is backwards, it was very obviously taken in the mirror. lol.

And now, I'm off to crochet a cat. :) I will also be adding the dino and the purses to Etsy today as well. :)

Relaxing weekend

This is what we've done today. Seriously, this is pretty much it. Dyed eggs. lol. It's been nice to really not do much. Last night we did our laundry, and cleaned this morning, so really, we're just relaxing, which is nice.

I have, of course, done a bit of crafting. I did a dinosaur, but I'm not sure that I'm totally in love with it just yet. Thoughts or suggestions are very welcome!!

And then I've been working on these. I'm also not sure that I'm completely in love with them. The little pouch was just a test run, and thought I might as well add a goofy face to it. The yeti purse was made out of an amazing thrift store find of fun fur. I definitely found a better way to do it, but I'm just not sure that it's what I was hoping it would be. Again, any comments are very welcome!! Let me know if you think I can improve it somehow. :)

I really think monster purses would be fun, I'm just not positive that the little clutch works, but let me know if it does. That's pretty much all I've been working on lately. I have another crochet project that I need to start, which I will probably do tonight. Tomorrow: Easter egg hunt in the morning, and quiet day and dinner here. :)

Get 'em while they're hot!!

I made 2 more Bigfoots(Bigfeet?) for my Etsy store. I kept one, because, well, I just had to. He stands next to my amazing Bigfoot cabinet now on my desk. :)

Anyways, go check them out!! I only made 2 of them. Next up, I will be making a dinosaur. I plan on working on that this morning, so check back for updates later today. :)

I love presents!!

Today was a big day of packages. It was wonderful. :)

First up, is a magnet from my Wizard of Oz swap partner from her Etsy store. It said on USPS.com that it was delivered on the 17th, but didn't get here until today. Anyways, he's found a nice place on my fridge, right next to my love robots I crocheted. :)

And yes, we're totally those nerdy people that have pictures all over our fridge. Feel free to laugh at us. :)

The next package was a personal swap I was doing with a fellow Craftster. I think he's just adorable. He's the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, and he's a zombie. :)
He's found a home next to my bigfoot cabinet, on top of my desk.

The third, and largest package was from my mom. It was our Easter package. Seth and I each got our own Easter baskets, and I got a bonus of 2 skeins of yarn. lol.

And remember when I was talking about my mom's amazing embroidery machine? Well, she made me a shirt with my logo from Etsy on it!! I'll definitely be posting some action shots later on. :)
